In response to the OP, if the person who's been wronged thinks the other person is a good person in general, then it's always a good idea to tell them why you're breaking contact. Speaking from experience, when someone completely cuts contact with you without any explanation, it's really confusing and potentially hurtful. Besides, they're then more likely to repeat the mistake if they don't know it was the reason why someone they liked completely broke contact with them.
