Funny you should mention quilts AWTY, I was ruminating just last night about how I'd projectile vomited red wine all over my step father's prized, beige and coloured patchwork, genuine Amish quilt, last year. Luckily my sister was on hand and swept into action, directing washing it by hand in the bathtub etc etc etc...it came out spotless in the end, and the Old Man has/will never know what happened. Result! 

I imagine that, being American, you'd reach for the 9mm if anybody drenched one of your handiwork quilts in red wine sick  Panic Hehe ; )
