That’s a myth. While the church frowns on sexual acts that have little or no chance of producing offspring, Catholics (provided they’re straight and married) have no restrictions on doggystyle, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, or the Bolivian pretzel.

Even the married couple had (or still has) a strict checklist of what they are not allowed to do sexually. Like, they could not do sex in any other position than missionary, they were not allowed to have sex if a wife was menstruating, if she is pregnant, if it was lent, during advent, during Easter week, during the fast day, during Sunday, Friday, Wednesday, Saturday, during daylight, if they were naked, and only once a week. Or at least that was during medieval times.

Also, I have heard that the Pope does not allow oral sex on a man, and when I researched it on the net, I found that the Church allows the blowjob as long as the man does not ejaculate in her mouth but in the vagina.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
