Because many christians have had their intellectual capacity so reduced by the jesus cult that they are no longer capable of grasping the implications of the concept of "fact", and think fact is nothing more than what is written in the right book.

The catholic mass is a despicable show.

Catholic mass is the paragon of reserve, delibration and rectitude compare to any number of evengelical howlfests.

Now matter how despicable a show christianity has actually put on, rest assured it has unlimited capacity to put on much more disgusting shows still. This is the true miracle of christianity.
