Quote:Anyone else? Anyone else here who's very bread and butter, who's very livelyhood would be threatened if they gave honest answers or responses to religious actions by others? Have you ever taken a chance and been honest and it cost you a job or money in some way?Nope. Not in the UK.
When I worked in the wild life trust I found that everyone there was atheist. It's not often I bump into a theist. Same thing for everything I got involved with. After hearing all this religious nuttery in the US I'm just thankful I'm not over there.
One thing I've got to ask is...how do you survive all that over there?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
