But since we can't read their minds or look into their hearts, the charitable thing to do would be to take them for their word and assume the best. Doesn't mean we have to believe what they are preaching, it just means we give people the benefit of the doubt when we have no proof to the contrary.
Just MHO.
You know if christians really cared but won't leave atheists alone need to remind themselves this..
The bible tells you to fuck off if the person or person in question doesn't want to hear anything about god and or jesus.
There is a bible passage but i forgot what it was.
Sure, but maybe they think that since Jusus's apostles did street preaching, it's ok for them to do it too.
Anway, wouldn't you agree that when you don't have proof in regards to a person's motives you should give them the benefit of the doubt rather than assume the worst?

I don't preach on the street, but I had never heard of anyone having anxiety attacks from it until Vic told me just now. It is completely possible that they just don't realize it. People can have good intentions while not knowing they are causing harm.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
