Basically I'm making my biggest meal in the morning, alternating between eggs with a bunch of veggies -and- oatmeal with a bowl full of fruit with nuts.
Lunch is usually my half a medium banana and cashew butter between two slices of David's Killer Good Seed bread. (As a splurge I'll sometimes spread about a teaspoon of spun honey on the opposite side and put some walnut halves between the banana slices. This is wicked good.)
Dinner is often home made soup with a slice of bread toast with a slice of cheese over it.
Snack options include three thin wafer cookies anytime I make a cup of tea with a splash of 1/2&1/2 in it and any of these no more than once a day: carrots; an apple; a lunch size bag of Snyder's pretzels (100 calories); or a popsicle.
I'll have 2 to 4 ounces of red wine with dinner when I feel like it and occasionally a diet soft drink but other than that and the tea, water will do .. and lots of it. Don't want to drink my calories.
My confession well i mean i eat healthy i just need to be a lot more active.
I started working on my metabolism i would eat 2 boiled eggs and a orange.
For lunch baked chicken and or a fresh garden salad.
Dinner baked chicken, salad, soup etc.
For snakes i do pretzels or kettle cooked chips. I do push a lot of water now and
then i drink coconut water for hydration. At most i try to stay away from it only
when i am dehydrated from working out ill drink a Gatorade then drink water afterwards.
