Not weight loss, but dammit, I've improved.
I've been using the Zombies 5k training app. It starts you with a 10 minute walk, then a series of 15 second run/1 minute walk drills, then a 10 minute free form period. The next series of days, you do 10 minute walk (that's the warm up portion) then 30 second runs/1 minute walks x5, then a freeform.
Well, I've been doing 2 minutes jog/1minute walk for the drills, then 2 minutes on, three off for the freeform. Except tonight. I not only did the 2 minutes (so blasting through 30 seconds running, 1 minute walking period, then another 30 seconds running) but ramped it up: 30 seconds actually running, 1 minute jogging, another 30 seconds running for all the drills. And ran for a full 5 minutes straight in the freeform - no need to walk for a minute in-between to catch my breath.
Asthma is a bitch, and it's been a slow row to hoe to get my breath to cooperate with my body to do this, but goddammit, I'm going to beat it. I'm going to get so strong the flu won't dare fuck with me next year.
