No, indeed not. They are generally associated with certain races, but you're right. Perhaps 'Islamophobic' is a better term. Anyhoo, we should beware of crude stereotypes, that's all I was saying. I wasn't accusing anyone of being a white supremacist. Vitriolic rants about how many Muslims are 'sub-human' just don't exactly make us seem moderate or reasonable. As for whether Islam should be 'wiped from the face of the Earth'... I would of course like it if everyone became a rationalist skeptic, but, failing that, I'd be content if religion were reduced to being just a hobby like knitting, to be done in clubs on the weekend, without it making moral demands based on Bronze Age scribblings.
