I would probably have included 10 just because .. you know .. the more answers you pick the smarter you appear but you actually did define it (bastard).
Well, there are multiple correct answers and all of those options you listed are incorrect, so it wouldn't have helped you. An example of a correct answer is 10.
The reason you can only select one answer is because it means you must select between either a correct answer or an incorrect one. If you could give multiple answers then it would be possible to select both correct and incorrect answers at the same time.
There are two definitions of year - calendar or orbital with orbital being the more 'vanilla' definition, but calendar being equally valid because we use artificial measures of time that we have constructed (for example, noon should occur when the sun is at its highest point in the sky, but the modern definition of a day is a 24 hour period, and therefore noon happens at 12PM regardless of the position of the sun).
There is a large number of respondents who think the answer is 365.242 - it isn't. That's the number of days in a year, not the number of times the Earth rotates on its axis.

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
