Also if something is that small as a grain of rice in a woman's womb that starts out as a lump of flesh (which is that small) called an 'alaq in Arabic meaning leechlike clot, and it clings to the mothers womb like a leech and is also shaped like a leech, then is referred to as resembling a chewed substance, then in its stages becomes bones and is then clothed with muscles and flesh just as precisely it is said in the Qur'an what human being knew this information? Scientists today with sonograms, microscopes and other technology have verified that when the embryo is as small as a grain of rice inside the mother's womb it looked like a chewed piece of gum, where indentions resembling teeth marks were visible, and the shape of this lump of flesh resembles a leech and also clings to the womb as a bloodsucking leech would cling to something, then it becomes a tiny skeleton, then grows muscles and skin on it as it grows bigger in the womb until birth. So my question to u is who in the 7th century knew this to be the exact way an embryo grows in the mother's womb, besides the One who created it to do things?(June 22, 2016 at 8:15 am)Sheed1980 Wrote: Ok I think I follow u. Let's try this one. Now remember 7th century microscopes, x-rays etc did not yet exist. Allah says in detail in the creation of man in the embryo on this webpage http://scienceislam.com/quran_human_embr...pment.php. Now u have to also take notice that the size of an embryo is about the size of a grain of rice. So with the precise description of this small life inside a woman's womb describe precise to the "T" in the stages of its growing. In a time period when microscopes and sonograms didn't exist who but the Creator of the Universe could've had this knowledge?
This has been widely debunked - the description of Embryology in the Quran is not accurate beyond general vague statements that would be plausible without having to make microscopic observations.
The size of an embryo changes all the time, in the beginning it is clearly much smaller than a grain of rice, and after a while, it is much bigger. The statement is nonsense. In any case, one does not need a microscope to see a grain of rice, and if the author of the Quran has ever talked to someone who has witnessed an early miscarriage, they might plausibly have observed remains of this size.
