I know bread from the grocery is far more convenient, but it's not really hard at all to make your own and it's way tastier than the packaged stuff - and I know exactly what went into it: nothing but flour, sugar, salt, butter, yeast and water. It's maybe 15 minutes of hands-on work for two loaves.
Wanna share the recipe? I have all of those ingredients and would be willing to make it tomorrow to save some money.
