When people interpret a politician giving them an accurate forecast about their jobs as "fucking them over", and vote instead for the guy who's going to remove the safety net they'll soon need, well, they ain't got any right to my sympathy, that's for goddamned sure. And so far as I'm concerned, their complaints are not worth the air that carries them to my ears. They cut their own throats and are now crying about bleeding out? Cry me a river.
