Nope, sorry, still here, still not killing my kid.  You'll just have to be content to speak for yourself.

Good disobediance to god?  Now we're getting somewhere.....and I honestly mean that, lol.

Quote:Try an atheist version - if you could save the lives of 50 children by killing your own child, would you do so? Can't you spin any answer as showing good or bad character, or a mixture of good and bad?
What's atheist about that, lol?  Nope, in any case...if you hadn't worked it out by now killing my own kid is a categorical no.  I'd kill someone else's kid, though...but I wouldn't waste a single breath trying to insist that I was morally right in doing so. Yet another situation I can comment on with certainty. Can I spin any answer to that question to be both good and bad, or indicative of good and bad character..not personally, no...but I'm probably not working on the same moral system..eh?  I'm guessing you can. Unsurprising, from a system that maintains that there is goodness in a faith that compels one to filicide.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
