I think Tony was a great bad guy in Scareface, but I would not want a violent murderer as my neighbor, even if he refuses to blow up kids.
Putin is no hero, he is a product of the old Soviet Union and wants to go back to that time.
I have the same problem with atheists whom have Che as their avatar. Che is the asshole whom preyed upon the poor that lead to Castro's Cuba.
Putin treats his loyalists well, but if you live in Russia and speak out against him, you'll have problems.
