This is Zero he is half husky half yellow lab and he is about 4 years old (thankfully finally starting to calm the fuck down lol) the two breeds don't mix well together for fur since the tan coarse fur sits different than the soft white husky fur and where they mix he has ridges, mostly on his butt, it's hilarious. He is spoiled rotten, I mean hell he has his own couch! Also he is so expressive, I've never known a dog to actually look happy/sad/irritated lol
He's got the Husky look but softened by the lab. What's he weigh? (Obviously not too big to be a daddy's lap boy.) Does he howl and vocalize the way some of the nordic dogs do? I've never been around any of them though I see them around and of course videos on Fb.

I love the boxer personality.
You guys have me curious about them now. Haven't known any boxers very well.
Zero is 77lbs and it's all muscle. He can take me down hard if he pulls his leash and I'm not in my combat stance lol. I need both hands on the leash and both feet planted firmly. He can't wear a collar cause his hair is too soft and fluffy around his neck every collar he can slip out of which is why he wears a banana 24/7 so we have something to grab onto. When outside he requires a full harness.
He is very vocal. He cries when he isn't happy but it's this soft wine that gets annoying very quickly. He didn't know how to howl so we taught him (my mother thought this was a very dumb idea and she may have been right lol) at first he would look at us like he was offended and turn his back to us howling. Then he finally got upset and started doing it with us. Now he will only do it if we or another dog does it. Sadly the dog next door howls if any siren goes off and then Zero will join in. We laugh hysterically every time cause Zero has this look like he doesn't know if he should howl too and doors it half assed at first like "omg are we howling? Do I need to join? Am I doing it right? Hey guys I'm part of the howl!"
Boxers are the best family dog! Mine was so happy and energetic until he was about five then he was super mellow and let the little ones crawl all over him. He was a big baby though, he needed a pillow and blanket plus cuddles and heaven forbid something scary happened cause he would hide behind me. Although once I was body slammed on the bed and he didn't realize it was for fun and he jumped on the bed if front of me and started barring his teeth toward my step dad.
