Meet Jameson. A 4 month old who was surrendered to us today. He needs some minor surgery as his testicles have not descended and he's staying with a foster who is a dog trainer herself. He needs to be housebroken which should take a week or so and then, with that face, he'll be adopted in no time at all. The dog he is greeting is nearly 16.
Follow up. Jameson had his consult with the surgeon on April 5. His condition had improved to the point where major surgery was not required so his neuter has been put off until he is six months old in order for his body to get the hormones it needs. At that point any vet can do the neuter. As predicted he was housebroken in a week and slept 8 hours the night before only getting up because one of the older dogs had to go out.
Our Placement team made a call on the afternoon of the 5th to a family which drove up to meet him the next day and adopted him on the spot. He's home.
