So my stepson's dog Bella spent the weekend. But we only got them out for a walk today at a place on the bay where people make a lot of sculpture and paintings of found objects, many of then very high quality. This place used to be a landfill that extended out into the bay and was a large, artistically inclined homeless encampment on its way to becoming a regional park. https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2018/01/30/...free-tour/
One of the first sculptures we came to is this silly dog being greeted by Smokey and Bella. (The ears are fashioned out of two bicycle seats.)
A painted bit of concrete nearby with Smokey for scale.
Driftwood dragon/dinosaur? is big enough and sturdy enough to hold several riders.
Heidi and Smokey working their way through a maze of rubble.
Smokey crossing a large painted concrete slab.
Lia and Bella working their way over another large slab. That's San Francisco across the bay in the distance
Smokey sniffing some more painted rubble.
Bella heading back to the parking area past some wildflowers.
