People treat them like dogs. They like to travel in a van, lying down and looking out the window. The few times I have driven a Llama to the vet, I got people in the streets turning their heads. They also will only go potty in their chosen toilet. Not on a visit in the house or in the van. When people travel long distance with them, they have to bring a bag of Llama pellets to create a "toilet" for them to go on breaks.
How do llamas relate to people? Do they like us or just tolerate? I've read they can defend other grazers from coyotes. That is pretty cool but would make me nervous for my dogs a little.
