A lot of pet toys are made of the same kind of plastic as those flip-flops. My wife had a Cockapoo that guarded a set of mudflaps that her mother bought her father until they went up and got a toy that smelled the same to lure her away! Once they were on the truck, the dog lost interest. She also used to sit in front of the perfume that I bought her (Jean Nate) for xmas one year, because it smelled like my wife after she took a bath. The dog would just lay there in front of the box until she came home.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
