Blue is mellowing in his old age. Adopted the crazy cat from a local shelter ten years ago. He fit in my hand when I brought him home. He was always pretty feisty and allowed attention rarely and only in short bursts. Now he seems to want to lay by me whenever he can and has ramped up his head butting for attention. I can now rub his ears and his chin for longer than 15 seconds before the claws come out or there is a little nip of warning. I guess I have finally earned my way into his clowder. He is still bitchy and herds me to his dry food bowl and lets me know that he doesn't recognize DST when it comes to his early evening wet food supper.
