I have said this before - and history keeps showing I am right.
High body counts in mass shootings have very little to do with firearm capabilities. The skill of the user is far, far more relevant.
How many times do you have to see some dipshit with an AK-47 lookalike blow off 60 or 100 rounds and kill 2 or three people?
A skilled man with a 6 shot revolver couild do far more damage with far less ammunition.
Don't believe it?
Google Jerry Miculek.
Murder rates are trending down. That's great.
It's not because of gun control.
Okay, well the Jerry Miculeks of the world aren't really the ones committing these things so that's good. I may not be very well versed in firearms (have only shot some dinky .22 rifle and a CZ P-07, no assault rifles) but I have incredible doubt about your assertion that the capabilities of a firearm don't make much of a difference. Incredible doubt. I feel like the basic probability of shots fired / shots hit with a fully automatic weapon alone makes your assertion incorrect.
Don't take.my word for it. I applaud skeptics.
But watch - start taking notes - you can even go back and research this.
The more rapid the fire - the less the casualties.
I' ve watched this for decades. It sure seems a pattern to me.
