Theism is a very specific genuinely and deeply held belief, with a long enough history of consequence to be predictable.
Do you mean that you hold beliefs that you don’t like, or that you don’t act on the beliefs you hold?

I'd point out that you aren't telling people they can believe in anything they like if you add the "nice to people" qualifier, either. Any belief that makes a person not nice to people is one left outside the approved circle. Can you think of any such beliefs, that have a proven history of making people not nice to other people?
