I think I added some fucking references to every translation above, you can click the link and check them out yourself.
And if you're not familiar with the existence of variants of one hadith - because, you now, Muhammad can say some important stuff to his companions many times in different ways- I suggest you take some time to do research.
I should remind that the Quran -Islam's source book- said that the hour -judgement day- comes unexpectedly:
Quote:Sura 7, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh
( 187 ) They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most of the people do not know."
Mohammed -peace be upon him- was not familiar with its time -as the Quran says-.

Then you, or anyone, can't really state precisely just what the hell he was talking about.
It must be very difficult when you have to fight this hard to justify a fantasy.
The Quran -on the other hand- is 603 pages that never change.
You can't play with its verses in the manor of the Hadith. For example, this OP; the Hadith gives so many scenarios about the advent of judgement day, but the Quran says it clearly and explicitly: nobody knows when it's coming but God himself.
That's why Sunni and Shiite institutions resort to the Hadith; with the Hadith you can "belly dance" and do lots of gymnastics to justify so many deeds.
