Swarms of insects are natural, wind picking objects and even animals depending on wind speed and weight of the species, also natural, just like viruses and bacteria are natural.
Theists wrongfully think when skeptics and or scientists call anything "natural" we mean good. In skeptic/science language we merely mean it is observable. Eartquakes, volcanos and black holes are all nasty things nobody wants affecting them, but there are very natural observations.
"Rivers of blood" again, was language used to threaten punishment for not blindly obeying the claimed god.
I am certainly sure both war and natural disasters both produced dead animals and dead humans bleeding. Again, no magic needed to explain anything.
The sky turning dark, that too, imagine a thunderstorm blocking out the sun.
The other point about human ignorance in all of antiquity is that most humans were not world travelers, so anything bad that happened to them locally, humans saw that local location as the entirety of the world. Nobody knew back then how big the planet was or that it was a ball and not flat.
So if you saw a local flood, it is reasonable back then to confuse that natural local disaster as being global. And disaster mythology wasn't new to the religions of Abraham. The Epic of Gilgamesh is far older mythology that has him on a boat trying to save his family and livestock during a flood.
But yet, you don't find these same characters in plagues, pandemis or floods in say China. They have their own mythologies but not the same characters.
