Awesome!
We've established it's not a problem of my incoherence but the boundaries of your self admitted ignorance that are the limits between understanding one another.
So, to make better our thinking for us I will use 'Simpler' words and less gramar.
You, WinterHold, knowing about history? Is fekked.
You, WinterHold, knowing about morals? Is fekked.
All these comments are shown by your previous posts in just this thread alone.
So, the better for you to show a better knowing of such things? Maybe use simple sentences?
Of note. My Snark is currently content and safely asleep in the corner after a very large helping of Boojums.
Cheers.
No; use "other words" because the first post was not coherent enough; at least to a non-native English speaker right me, not "grammar" simple words. Burn the cheap card of picturing me as an ignorant; please. and learn to use "other words" because the previous post was a mess.
So, would my morals finally be probable to you if I agreed to every opinion you say, as if I was a parrot?
Didn't you read "Muslim" under my username? that means my religion and morals are quite different from yours. Yes we can have similar morals, but we will also have lots we disagree on.
Your level of "tolerance" though is the standard here. Would you resort to brute force to convert me, or soft power, or discussion, or simply leaving me be?
I get that this wasn't addressed to me, but I'm going to answer it anyway, because the level of wrongness is making my brain ache.
First off, you've got the wrong end of the stick as to what soft power is. It's not an attempt to convert anyone or to take over countries in the way that military intervention can be. It's an attempt to win hearts and minds. If the US comes into your country and builds mosques, hospitals, roads, schools and so forth, they aren't trying to change religious beliefs, they're trying to change political views, ie, moving from 'The US is The Great Satan' to 'maybe these guys aren't completely horrors after all - what can we do to return the favour?'. Plying you with sex and money, a la Las Vegas isn't soft power, it's a blatant attempt at corruption (not that it can't work, of course).
Secondly, no one wants you to be a parrot. If I disagree with your views, it doesn't mean you have to agree to mine.
Lastly, I would rather leave you completely to your own devices. However, when you come out in support of cutting off the hand of a child for stealing a lolly, I consider it a moral imperative to point out that I find such a belief to savage and barbaric. When you misinterpret both history and the historical method to make your tribe look like angels and everyone else look like moral equivalent of a honey badger on angel dust, I feel compelled to tell you just how wrong you are.
