Well it isn't located in my house, but rather in a large datacentre in France. The server in my house is one I use for various personal reasons.

No, that's my main laptop. ;-)
I like having a server on which I can store sensitive data on an encrypted file system knowing that if everything goes to shit, I can physically destroy the thing.
