It this such an evil thought?

Yes it is evil.

Tribalism is one of the main causes of conflict in the world.

just look at Rawanda in the 90s.

The sooner people get rid of this stupid 'us and them' mentality the sooner the human race can grow up.

And you suggest that we'd rather live under your rule and be your servants? Because that is what your ideology actually serves to do. You'll be the masters, and we'll be the slaves.
No thanks.

Btw, darling - I don't mean you don't produce those things already. I mean that you don't get to share in any advances.

But hey, they put a wall around East Berlin. Go on. Try it out.
And you think that we do get any share in any advancements right now?
No, we don't. How about Iraq? They're fresh out of American occupation. Do they get a share from your advances? And Afghanistan got a lot more "advanced" ever since they beat the soviets with your assistance.
The west does not really care if we are advancing or whatever. They sell their products here for twice the price, whereas the current US backed government is doing everything in it's path to let foreign capital flow.
And well, we have no intent on becoming a second soviet union. We're no communists.
Quote:Because Turkish people are known as the richest on the planet.
Unlike you, yes? Just a damn minute ago, you lot were ranting about how you were held down, how you were poor and how big corporations were fucking you over...And when we voice our protests against such incursions against our people, I'm supposed to be backwards, reactionary and old-fashioned, and not to forget, isolationist, communist, and bigot, hator, racist...etc.

Where the fuck did you get that I wanted to lord it over you?

My point is that we are all the same, with no group better than the other.

You're living off the benefits of profiting on the backs of others.

Er...even as angry as we are, we're still doing better than most countries on this planet, sir. Following your spear-shaking tribalistic notions isn't going to save anyone.

Also - the pseudo-democratic governments in those countries, as well as the out and out theocracies, make for shite trade possibilities...except as how corrupt religious leaders allow.

Also, I read - a lot - and scientists from others countries do their best to keep contact with scientists all over the world in order to share in advances.

But go ahead. Convince your people that's the most prosperous way to go.

PS - when I talk about everyone working together, that doesn't mean subjagating everyone. But it's telling on you that this is what you keep harping on.

Sure, and I think that you are willing to give a portion of your wealth to a family in india so you can have equal wealth. And you certainly would not be willing to pay them a dollar a day for a hard day's 10 hours work, so you can get your whatever, made in india product for much cheaper than it'd possibly be for you to produce the same thing in your country.
Equality, no difference, these are only beautiful words, generally used to fool people such as yourself. The people over there know no equality that is on your par. Neither do I.
No, there is no equality on this world, and everyone is out for himself.
And I intend to look out for our own interests, for each one of you does the same.

That is true enough, but is down to the capitalist system and relative strength of economies rather than tribalism.

I dont like the idea of sweat shop workers.

I would rather people got paid a decent wage for their work and had a decent quality of life.

It is not my life outlook that keeps people in poverty.

Andremember which country was the first in the history of the world to ban slavery.

There arent many things that we can claim as being done purely for moral reasons by my country but that was one.

Oh, you're doing a damn fine job in assaulting countries, and helping other countries to faciliate their own demise by destabilizing them to the point of easy takeover.
Besides, my "spear shaking" tribalism is in itself, a lot more honest, and a lot more possible than the humanist, unpractical mumbo jumbo ideology you have.

Oh yes. Theocracies. Which ones are these? Saudi Arabia? It's full of the latest gadgets, medical services and whatever their oil money can provide.
UAE? Qatar? Dubai? They already live off the full benetifts of the oil, and are all pro-US countries, and "theocracies" as you call them.
But how about poor Iraq? It was a relatively stable country, until you blockaded them for all it's worth. They were also a quite secular nation. But it seems like the west does not look favorably on nations who talked of self-determination and independence.

How about poor Syria? Why do you hate Syria that you had to pull off a cheap maneuver called the "arab spring" on them too?
Corrupt religious leaders, sure. The only corrupt religious leaders are the ones that are working for America. It was so during the cold war, and it's still the same today.
