Anyone know any idea what the name of the symbol here at the atheist forums with the A in the middle is? The name for a star made out of what looks like bracelet shapes? Because I love the shape, and funnily enough its the shape used on the cover of 3 Orbital albums (or if not, a very similar shape), each with slightly different effects and distortions. Only difference is, it has an extra one going horizontally, and the one on their last album has the same number, but it has a horisontal one INSTEAD of a vertical one. I've been googling but I can't find it...looks like it might be something to do with mobius strips? But I don't know the name of the shape, what it is, or what it represents, and I'd like to.

The symbol on the home page.

It represents an atom. The rings are electron rings. Technically, the symbol is the official icon of the American Atheists group, so we might change it in the future. The middle rings (vertical and incomplete) represent all knowledge that hasn't been obtained yet.
Ah yes, that's where I've seen it, of course.
We could have the symbol of evolution, you know that show the evolution from monkey to human?
