Can an American citizen be a real atheist?

Buddhists do not believe in a personal God with a very small exception for a small sub-sect. I suspect you must know this.

Since this is an admission that you are lying about China having 'no god', I respectfully submit that the credibility of your opinion is compromised and will treat them as potentially being a complete and deliberate falsehood.

Combined with the statistical evidence for the lie about 99.9% of the world believing in God, there is no reason to treat any further opinion of yours as worthy of consideration.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

Source please. I claim you are lying, due to numerous demographics of non-belief in God.

Also you claim China is entirely "no god" which by default via world population proves your 1% to be untrue.

You have a choice. You are lying about China being predominantly atheist, or you are lying about the 1%. Its one or the other there.

Atheism only took off in America during the internet boom, and so is around the world....source one for sure. So 1% is a generous estimate.

You are still in the "minority group", 1% is a generous estimate

Mass atheism has a statistical record far beyond the last 20 years, and a wealth of historical documents not to mention the aforementioned buddhism which has existed before the internet.

Your 1% is invented and bears no relation to the evidence. You have cited no evidence.

I make this strike 3 for a provably evident falsehood, see above for disregard for any further opinion.

In a square mile radius where you live, find out how many atheists are in that 1 mile radius...hey that's a very good source, your own neck of the woods.

You are a proven liar. This is conjecture and opinion and your personal delusions are irrelevant, as are your attempts to describe them as you have shown a strong compulsion to persist with obvious falsehoods, and now... potential drooling.

I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to highlight your shortcomings, and bid you good day. For the above reasons, there is no reason to continue any dialogue with a habitual delusional liar. Which I say not to offend, but to highlight the conclusion of our discussion which you failed to defend adequately.

Wants some more evidence? Try the internet.....how many Christian and God believing forums members there are in each one and compare it to atheists forums...and that's a pretty good source, don't you think?

Ok, since you are too stupid to understand, I'll use very easy language and frame it as a question: How does the fact that a majority of people believe something have any bearing on how true it is? Or rather, do you think it would be possible for many people to believe something that was false?

Furthermore, even if your stats were true (which they aren't), of those supposed 99%, how many different beliefs are there? What's the point in saying 99% of people believe in SOME KIND OF GOD, when those Gods are as different as chalk and cheese?

Which merely means that you are one of the ignorant mass.

Congratulations. I hope you and your invisible friend are very happy together. Maybe you can jerk each other off, asshole.

I do not remember believing in god at all, it has always seemed a silly concept to me.

Then why are unbelievers mentioned in the bible.

The only christian I know of for sure personally is my mum and shes not all that sure.
There may be people that I know who are christians but they dont wear it on their sleeves or go to church or anything, (except my mum) they are indestinguishable from atheists really.
I live in the UK, we got rid of most our religious nutters centuries ago, flushing them in the direction of america.
