ok. What about if I ask you guys, do athiests get married in a church.? of any place of worship. If not does it involve any religous event at all like swearing and what not?

You have to understand that atheists are not a group of like minded individuals in the same way that Muslims or Christians are. The only thing that binds us together is a disbelief in a god or gods. So, some atheists may get married in a church if their partners are religious, some may not. or may be why there is a neccessity to get married at all? when no law will be imposed on you for not getting married? including God's law. since no such entity in Athiest's mind.
2 dear friends of mine (also members here btw) got married at the side of a lake with a wonderful master of ceremony. No vows towards some deity involved, just to each other.

My wife is catholic and we married on the notary, we had a party and invited our friends. she has her belief and doesn't ry to ram it onto me. We love eachoter and want to increase the family. Is that different from you? No, because the only thing an atheist is different from you is that we don't find enugh evidence of god or gods. that's it.
