Wow. Way to miss the point, dude.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Christians are just petrified with fear of the Hebrew mythological God.

And that shouldn't be surprising. Look what the bastard did to his very own son.

Imagine how much more cruel he might be to a mere mortal human?

So Christians feel that they need to publicly support this mythological God lest he cast them into hell.

After all, the first 4 of the 10 commandments are basically demands that people worship God.

So failure to do so would surely be grounds for certain condemnation.

So it should come as no surprise that Christians are desperate to show this God that they support him.

That's all that's about. It's nothing more than extreme fear on the part of the Christians is all.

They're just trying to save their own souls from a mean hateful untrustworthy God.

Christian - A moron who believes that an all-benevolent God can simultaneously be a hateful jealous male-chauvinistic pig.
Wiccan - The epitome of cerebral evolution having mastered the magical powers of the universe and is in eternal harmony with the mind of God.
Atheist - An ill-defined term that means something different to everyone who uses it.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
Clearly Jesus (a fictitious character or otherwise) will forgive people if they merely know not what they do
For the Bible Tells us so!

Quote:The Way Of Looking At The Universe…

People of every nation and background have for years tried to develop their own answers, postulating theories for what they do not understand. They do not want a higher being to be accountable to, so they devise ways our world could have arisen without him. Nothingness is a sort of freedom. It means you can do whatever you want without repercussion. Rather than fight the weight nothingness gives you, I challenge you to listen to your misgivings. Stop avoiding God. Live for him and you will find more life in yourself than you ever thought attainable. Living for others gives us satisfaction. How much more would we be rewarded if we lived as a tribute to our heavenly Father!

Boy way to piss all over a good vibe. Instead of grooving on what we have in common with the rest of the living world now, since the beginning of life and until the end of life .. you would have us bow our heads and grovel before something beyond ourselves which has done all this for us. What a party pooper. Instead of grasping the magnificence of our actuality you would have us focus on the nothing we would be without God - where you posit all the wonder and good stuff.

Oh to obedience, oh for the end of ambition for understanding, oh for complete abnegation in the face of the infinite. Why would god waste the infinite on you? If He exists it is already wasted on you. You refuse to take your place along side it all so that you might be seen abasing yourself before God. What a waste.

If I were forced to choose creation beings, I think I would pick JRR Tolkien's Valar. Now those are creationists I can understand!
Here's to you as good as you are. Here's to me as bad as I am. As bad as I am and as good as you are, I'm as good as you are, as bad as I am.
