You should make sure these dimensions are followed:
Header image dimensions: 855 x 315
The avatar layers on top of the header image. Its X-Y is thus:
X=20, Y=240
Thats the top left hand corner
X=160, Y=240
Be sure to kiss my ass HARD after this.
Facebook has that agrivating autocrop, so here is how you get the best out of it:
Avatar dimensions: 180 X 180
Crop your image down to: 154 X 154
Set top left hand corner of cropped image in avatar at the coordinates:
X=12.5, Y=12.5
The autoFUCKINGcropping on Facebook will no longer fuck up your sweet ass image now.
If you need more information then shove your thumb up your ass and wiggle it, because you are a butt fucking n00b.

What I have noticed though, is that even though it fully accepts header images that big, it only loads it in half cocked...

I see now. If I log out and load the page, it comes up right. If I log in it hits my "ADMIN" system, and that is why it comes in half cocked for me.
Its all cool...nothing wrong....false alarm
