Much better than bible-thumping assholes who walk around wagging their fingers at everything.

I think you hit the nail on the head. We live in a society that respects poisonous professions like theologian and reviles harmless ones like the ones Summerqueen mentioned. It should be the other way around.

Priests are the ones who shouldn't be allowed in "polite society". "I'm sorry, sir, but this is a respectable function and you'll have to go ply your trade elsewhere."

The accusation of being *gasp* a priest should be one of libel. "How dare you insult my honor by suggesting that I was once a priest?! Someone get me the name of a good lawyer!"

Politicians seen in the company of priests should be pressured to resign, being morally unfit for office. "...and I have photographs of you in a car with a priest, Senator." "Are you blackmailing me?"

I honestly can't see what the big deal is about strippers, or prostitutes. It's an old profession (right up there with hitting people on the head with rocks), there's a high demand, and as long as we aren't talking about being pimped out by some douchebag named Sugarbear....there's money in it. I love strippers, I love hookers. We can't all be doctors and lawyers etc, and not everyone wants to flip burgers...so....
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Unless, of course, the politician is there to personally collect taxes.

Neither can I. Question, though, do you want your daughter to do it?

If the choice is A: Fry chickens, or B: grease em (I mean this in the dirtiest way possible), I'll buy the fucking rubbers. I want a great deal more than many things can offer for my daughters. It's a bit meh to single one out among them. I don't want her to be in the Navy, should this mean something? lol.

Way I see it everyone in some way is already selling themselves in some way. Soldiers sell themselves to fight, Pianists to entertain and Politicians to piss everyone off. The only difference I see between Stripping, prostitution and porn is the sexual aspect. (I understand shells shelf life thoughts but that's the same with every sports person and other professions) And sex isn't a big deal as long as everyone is old enough and not being harmed.

Ahhh, this topic.

As long as there are men, there will be a need for someone to pay for pussy. The only stigma I have against it is the risk of disease and low hygiene, and as Summer pointed it out, you legalize and regulate it and that shit goes away instantly. Fuck knows I wouldn't hesitate to spend $100 to get laid every once in a while. Same amount as a date except I know I'm getting laid and I don't have to watch any really bad chick flicks, either.

I was dropping off, but I have a spider sense for when you need to be spanked.
