Sadly, I haven't had a pet of my own since I had to put my 12 year old black Lab down a year and a half ago. The closest I have is my brother's dog - he had the foresight to get a puppy before he had to do the same.

Not trying to be a downer, but I miss my Buddy.

I know that can be really difficult, and no dog can ever replace him. I'm sorry for your loss.
