sorry for using metaphysical/supernatural everywhere
if this is not possible AT ALL please explain why
Every reason it is impossible you were given on another forum but since you're a stubborn fucktard, you have some reasons here that it's impossible plus the one I'm gonna give you (and for good measure so is Brian Cox), it is against the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
can you please elaborate
explain to me how it is against the 2nd law of thermo dynamics?

There is a common theme in the "innocence" professed by many as they ask extremely programmatic questions which purport incredulity at the possibility of a simple "no" answer. Only the theists are asking these kinds of questions. I find them boring. The pattern is always the same.

Tell me about it....
Then again, I shouldn't be talking. I used to be one of those annoying theists!

Maybe by asking such questions and having your ass handed to you so many times made you see reason.

That's exactly what did it. Except bigboy/sjosan here has already asked the same question over and over and over again and even reworded it to try and avoid explanations at a different forum. This I didn't do because that's not how you learn. Obviously his aim is to make his idea at least remotely plausible.. but that's just delusional thinking.

Like, why not?
It's a nice thought. However, I'd rather believe in the concept of an immortal soul, than reincarnation, which creates a new consciousness each time the soul is reborn anywhere.
This is not really what I'd hold of an eternal soul.

We don't have an eternal life, why would we expect to have an eternal afterlife? Why would we even want one anyway? Most if not all of us have enough trouble coping with the little time we know we have. An eternal life with no hope for reprieve would frighten the shit out of any rational person, and quite right too.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Possible? I think so,as is an Abrahamic god or aliens landing in the car park today at 3 pm. I do not believe in any of those things due to the lack of credible evidence,
I have not the slightest interest in proving/arguing X y or Z to be impossible. It's up to the claimant to prove X Y Z is true. The concept is called, "the burden of proof"

Let me see if I'm understanding the question correctly. You're asking if there is any in principle reason why a process, consciousness, which we have only ever found in living brains and about which we understand very little, could be resurrected and sustained by a supernatural being about which we know even less after we die and outside of our brains. What objection could anyone raise that could possibly make what you propose seem anymore unlikely or farfetched than it already sounds on the face of it? I realize that you are positing a being that has it in his power to do any and everything. That was good thinking but how many of these have you or anyone else ever come across and how do you know they'd want to do this for us even if they could.
