Is the saying, "A rogue Element" or "A rogue Elephant"
April 7, 2012 at 10:05 pm
This is SUPER off topic, but I want to settle a bet so which is it?
"A rogue Element" or "A rogue Elephant"
Atheism is a non-prophet organisation. - A dusty old book that I found that must be completely true because someone wrote it down.

It would have probably helped if he'd spelled "rogue" correctly in his LMGTFY query.
I shudder to think what a rouge elephant looks like.

Actually I think both are correct;
"A rogue elephant" is a metaphor or simile,depending on how it is used.
"A rogue element" is literal.
