Conceptual errors. Every evolution begins with an heritable anomaly. Evolution of distinct ovaviporous chicken population does not obsolete the population of egg laying chickens.

Are you really claiming that one instance is evolution? You gotta be kidding. Tell you what, lets wager 10000 dollars right now that this is not evolution. I'll be richer and you'll be poorer. Want to put your money behind your stupid insistence?

Quote:A Sri Lanka hen has given birth to a chick without an egg, in a new twist on the age-old question of whether the chicken or the egg came first.
Well, egg-bearing animals were around long before the first birds; the egg came first.

Quote:The chick is fully formed and healthy, although the mother has died.
Evolution in action ?
Given that the mother died giving birth to it, it not only has no survival advantage, but it is probably a hindrance. It will not catch on.

The only thing that matters at this point, is whether or not it tastes good fried and smothered in chipotle sauce. If it tastes better than the dusty old egg laying models, and it is a heritable trait. Vae fucking victus.
