That's just your inner monologue. We all have it.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I'd actually be tempted to say people who *don't* talk to themselves are crazier...as in people who don't have any sort of mental dialogue with themselves. They would probably be very impulsive, unquestioning of everything they do.
I talk to myself a lot, but just in the normal inner dialogue way. As for having an imaginary girlfriend you believe is real, that obviously isn't normal, but I think it's kind of cool. (this sounds horrible but I'm kind of jealous of people with psychological exceptionable like this) Maybe it's a sign of a strong imagination? Who knows?

Meh, I talk to myself out loud all the time. Especially when gaming... I swear at myself when I do shit wrong.

If you aren't hurting yourself, or anyone else, I don't see how it could be unhealthy.

When I'm completely alone I'll think things in my head (what people have already mentioned here, inner voice and all that) but I guess where I may be different is I'll occasionally respond out loud.
Like for instance if I'm debating something in my head, or thinking to myself on a problem. My brain will act out a conversation half in my head and half out loud. I only do this when I'm alone though, and when I'm thinking about questions, or events that have happened.
I don't think I'm crazy. It's just the way I work shit out and keep my brain focused on what I'm thinking on.
As for speaking to imaginary people. No I can't say I do that.

hil-fuckin-arious! my stomach's hurtin at this thread, i can't catch my breath.
OP, i do that shit unknowingly at weird times. i'll simply be walkin down the street "thinking" of the 30 things that i'm supposed to be doing besides walking down some street. i'll realize that someone walking down the street towards me, crosses the street and continues past me. it will hit me that i musta been talkin out loud again. lmfao. so i stop at the next cigar shop and get somethin to calm my dumb ass down. only seems to happen when i'm spread too thin on multiple projects.
dude, just buy a bluetooth earpiece and keep it on and you're good! i ALWAYS think people talk to themselves and then i see that blue light and i shake my head.

I think most people talk to themselves in their heads. When you don't know you are talking to yourself and not a perceived outside entity, that is when you may have a problem, particularly if said entity is mean or tells you to do bad things.
Even "normal" talking to yourself in your head can be detrimental to your mental health, such as with Pure-OCD. When thoughts tend to be negative and it becomes impossible to break a negative thought cycle, it is very hard on the sufferer. However, unlike delusional people, they know the thoughts belong to them, which can cause even more distress while they wonder if it is a reflection of who they are.

this puzzles me and i see how it relates to this forum. if you believe in something imaginary, it's not imaginary to you ... you believed you had a gf (i think) and that's the end of that. wow. i can dig it dude.
