It seems pretty meaningless to tally up who's killed the most people. Isn't the thread titled "atheists are intolerant"? Big Grin Personally, I think the initial assertion suffers from the same problem as "Christians are intolerant" because we can't take specific instances of intolerance and apply them to the whole group. Perhaps a more meaningful argument would be "this/these atheists are intolerant"?

I would agree, but the bible mandates intolerance of many groups. Since all Christians believe in the bible (or they're not Christians), all Christians who have read, believe, and do not cherry pick the bible are intolerant.

Proving Christians are intolerant won't establish atheists as tolerant, which is (or at least was) the point of contention in this thread.

It's always fun to wonder just how many true christians™ have been "martryed".....by other true christians™. If they weren't such half assers we wouldn't have any christians left to deal with.
