Canadian school's solution to daily prayer: Just put non-Christians in a separate classroom.
This is brilliant!......Not!

I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

Only in the minds of the delusional would this be considered a viable option.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Well, I hope they separate all of the denominations as well. We wouldn't want any intolerance happening.

What harm could come from putting Sunni's in with Shi'ites?

I have no problem with the segregation. Atheists do because they want everyone just like them--lost, bliond and stumbling in the dark.
Unbelievers do not make up 100% of the public thus the needs of the religious need to be met by public schools. it is unfair and wrong to force a secular education upon those who do not want it.
if the atheist doesn't like religion in school then they are free to build their own, create their own curriculum, reruit their own teachers and students.
The atheist is free to show the world that their system is the better one by NOT forcing their ways upon those who have rejected it but be educating their students in their own schools on their own dime.
But I doubt that would ever happen as atheists love the educational welfare they receive via the public school system.
keep in mind that the rules of equal opportunity, etc. would still apply to them
