What beliefs do atheists have Stat?

You have some atheists who are Buddhists and are much more spiritual than many Christians. Then you have atheists who don't give a hoot either way whether God or gods exist (not really agnostics because agnostics tend to actually care, they just don't like to make the final decision). And then you have those who are diametrically opposed to religion.

Atheists can have a vast array of different beliefs, doesn't mean they are logically consistent with atheism. Many people have beliefs which they have never really questioned as to the basis of those beliefs, they think they "just have them" the majority of people are like this, they just accept the current set of values they were born into. I would say though that atheism when pushed to its logical conclusion ends in nihilism, "creating" your own meaning is delusional if no meaning exists, true?

What relevance has that got to do with anything I've said? Again the arrogance of some atheists is astonishing, are you seriously trying to equate atheism with intelligence and suggest anyone of faith is unintelligent? Aegrus: You forgot about Jesus being conceived in a virgin and the birth not resulting in catastrophe due to the fact that the hymen is a one-way street [basically if Jesus were to be born to a virgin, the hymen would cause crushing from muscle contractions in the vaginal cavity, thus killing him and likely Mary as well]. Oh, and rising from the dead and floating into the sky...which we have long since flown to and continue to do so in passenger jets and have yet to see any evidence of heaven in. Unless Jesus floated into space...which is not possible because in space, the human body suffers about a dozen catastrophic failures. And Jesus, if I recall correctly, was the mortal-born son of god, and he was a human, with human physiology, so...he probably instantly froze, was bombarded by neutrino particles thus destroying his atomic structure, his body was rent asunder by the absolute vacuum, and inevitably he probably floated into the sun and was absolutely annihilated by the high heat given by the fusion process of the sun.

Science kills the silly beliefs of xtianity. Stat, you call us arrogant? Aren't you the same people who for two millenia told the world that you had all the answers and if anyone said otherwise, they got burned at the stake or tortured into confession with devices that today would make us nauseous with revulsion? There is a difference between confidence and arrogance. Arrogance is what christians have; that they are superior simply because they think they are. WE, atheists, are confident, because we have evidence to back up our belief that we are right.

So, yes. Atheism = intelligence, faith = stupidity, you don't like it, you're welcome to join us. Or you can go right along just believing something just because someone told you it's true, convince yourself it's true, and whine about how atheists deride you for your foolishness. It makes no difference to me, but you joined this forum, specifically labeled "atheistforums.org" because you basically wanted to whine about us to us. So you'll have to understand that I am pretty sure [not positive but I have a sneaking suspicion] that I speak for everyone in some way when I say "if you don't like it then kindly leave."
