for married men, i bet that they knew.. one wife is more than enough.. especially when they turn themselves into emo moods.. although ' trouble is a friend' but who really loves trouble that much? having one husband is enough to keep the wife bz either, who would want more husband? before we talk about polygamy or polyandry, marriage itself is a problem maker.. having more than one spouse brings u pleasure at first stage, heart attack at the next..

With all the discussion of legally recognizing same sex marriages, I feel in my opinion the legal recognition of multiple partner marriages will be the next step.

My $0.02 on the subject, I am not a fan of the polygamous marriages which are allowed by the Islamic religion. Since that often leads to the oppression of women. However I cant think of any moral objection to legally recognizing multiple partner, so long as it is between mutually consenting adults.

Ultimately we are all just byproducts of evolution. Murder and rape are imaginary social constructs.

They are no different than any other behavior, and from an evolutionary perspective, it would be irrational to treat murder and rape as special by forbidding them.

It's simply unscientific.

Anyway, OT, I don't see a problem with people having multiple spouses, just like others here, as long as they are consenting adults. Historically speaking, many countries have allowed the upper class at least to practice this, and have done fine.

But I do think we are getting ahead of ourselves. Gay rights made a huge leap last week, but that fight isn't over.
