God is almost omnipotent. He has many limits.

That's one way to raise the dead.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Or at least cure the limp?
This is where my earlier omnipotent/impotent line should have gone. I always did have the habit of peaking too soon.

So you were premature? There's a pill for that as well.

It doesn't seem to matter if it translates as "almighty" OR "omnipotent."
Quote:almighty [ɔːlˈmaɪtɪ] Quote:omnipotent 6 of one - half dozen of another - and both meaningless until you can produce evidence Quote:evidence of such a being. Again you will only find this translation is support of the catholic based doctrine. Which by the nature of this post is flawed. Or do you dispute that fact, and you believe that doctrine is correct and God is indeed omnipotent?
God is almost omnipotent. He has many limits.
Quote:Omnipotent is defined in part as having power or authority without limits IOW, almighty. Quote:He cannot reproduce true. He does not need to He creates, example Adam. Quote:He cannot enjoy sex. He is Spirit and finds no need for it, He did create it for mankind to enjoy within marriage. Quote:He cannot reproduce without bestiality or cross species breeding. He finds no need for your practices. Quote:He could not create a heaven without Satan. Heaven exist and Satan will not soon. Quote:He could not create Eden without evil in it. He did, evil came later. Quote:He cannot control wayward demons or devils. Jesus put several in swine, and drove many out of people and told them to shut up and they did, some were extremely frightened when Jesus showed up. In the end He will cast them all in the lake of fire. Quote:He cannot sin, although scripture says he does. You're right, and thanks for pointing out such a wonderful thing. Scripture does not say God ever sinned, show me scripture to prove this statement. Quote:He cannot live without needs like adoration, honour, obedience, love. He has existed forever, what was it like before He created. Quote:He cannot accept a soul into heaven without us accepting Jesus and human sacrifice. His rules, live with it. Quote:He could not forgive sin without having Jesus sacrificed. How much more love could He have shown us, than to lay down His life for us. Quote:How then can Christians say that God omnipotent, all-powerful and without limits when he clearly has many? Because the limits He has are self imposed, that's the ultimate in power.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
