What Heaven is Like

I'm a bit confused where you got "evidence" out of the title and/or the topic of the thread. Its a meditation within context of Christian traditions and beliefs, which is pretty common on both the atheist and the religious side of things.
Mary Immaculate, star of the morning
Chosen before the creation began
Chosen to bring for your bridal adorning
Woe to the serpent and rescue to man.

Sinners, we honor your sinless perfection;
Fallen and weak, for your pity we plead;
Grand us the shield of your sovereign protection,
Measure your aid by the depth of our need.

Bend from your throne at the voice of our crying,
Bend to this earth which your footsteps have trod;
Stretch out your arms to us, living and dying,
Mary Immaculate, Mother of God.

I see, philosophical ramblings upon a subject upon which you have no knowledge.

So how could you be happy in heaven knowing that there are millions of souls suffering eternal torment in hell when their only "crime" is non belief or believing in the wrong god?

Or are you so callous that you just wouldn't care?

How retarded can you all stay, I mean really, how many more times do we have to explain that unforgiven sin is the problem, no one's being callous, if we did not care we would not be here. Our time spent here could have been used to do many other things, instead we at least try.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Tsk,tsk,tsk. Your comprehension skills are lacking aren't they.

I'm specifically referring to your attitude to people in hell when you're in heaven.

How can you be happy in heaven knowing millions are suffering in hell eternal for quite minor infractions?

One sin against God is not a minor infraction, I know you probably do not understand why and all I can really say is that's the way God sees it, one sin against the perfect righteousness of the Creator. I do not believe God will allow us to know there are those who are in hell, but if we do God will make it absolutely clear to us why they are there, so we will not dwell upon it.

I'm not sure I can accurately describe what we will feel or not feel, all I can say at this time is that heaven will not be a place of mourning, it will be a place of joy. For know that's the best I can state. Sorry.

But will you be aware of the suffering in hell?

And if so, how will you feel about it?

I can almost guarantee I, let alone Blessed John Henry Newman, have more knowledge of Christianity than you do.

When I am in Heaven I am fully united to God's will--that is Heaven. There is nothing which can make me anything less than purely joyful. To be in Heaven means I will also, like God, respect their own free will and their decision to separate themselves from all love, though it may cause 'sadness' in the way God also feels sadness for those who forsake love for the self, it is not ever enough to drown out that joy.

That being said, no one goes to Hell merely for "non belief" or "believing in the wrong god". Thinking

Maybe you do, I was however, referring to your knowledge of heaven.
In that regard you have lots of unfounded beliefs, but no actual knowledge.

And you know this for a fact because......
Though you make heaven sound like the Borg collective.

Really? because according to your theology god will forgive anything, as long as you are prepared to ask for forgiveness and accept jesus.
So the only unforgivable sin is unbelief, doesn't matter how good a life you've lived as an atheist, you're going to hell.
On the other hand hand you can be a murdering rapist all your life but accept jeebus and you're in heaven.
Yep, makes perfect sense.
