Just accept gays can marry like everyone else, grow up, and move on.  And yes, those of you out there who don't want gay marriage and also don't want to be labelled "homophobic" ARE homophobic because you don't want same sex marriage. End of story.

I'm not Kichi, but I dont like the way they crowbar their god into everything. A couple of years ago a 24 year old work colleague died of cancer. At the service after a little bit of patter on the deceased the vicar then went onto a massive talk on the theme how sad god must have been to see his son die and what a sacrifice it was yadda yadda yadda. I was incensed, this was supposed to be Bernies day and the talk was all jesus this and god that.

I quote a gay celebrity on the radio. A civil partnership is fully equal in law to marriage. Religious overtones are not needed and not wanted.

I am thinking that maybe it is the religious who inflict their sanctimonious elitism upon the 'Civil Ceremony' as if it is less than human and by inference so are the couple.

To me, the only reason I can see people wanting it is if they're religious themselves / for religious reasons. (and I'd support that)
Descrimination inferred or handed out is the originators problem.
