If your holy book is the book of a gods message, why does it not translate very well into other languages? I hear a lot of muslims say it's best read and understood in it's native tongue. Do you really believe an all commanding god would communicate his/her message in such a limited dialect? Also are you fluent in Arabic?

The only saving grace of islam is that it is no more or less stupid than any of the other shit invented my men over the millenia to give them phony answers to any question they could think of.

To answer the question in the heading: incompatible. Most definitely.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
