Well, not really, but by the standards of previous years' vacations in Wisconsin, it wasn't really that good; the car's transmission had to give out just before we got to the cottage, I missed a performance of the Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged), I accidentally destroyed a CD of the best of Edgar Bergen, and I never got a chance to do mini-golfing. Things weren't helped by the fact that many of the plays I did get to see weren't as good as they were in previous years and I was let down by The Dark Knight Rises.
