The god news: Most Catholics use contraception anyway, despite what the church wants them to do.
The bad news: The places that the RCC most likes to peddle its shit, the uneducated parts of the world that are in most need of condom use, are full of people that will be prone to believe this.

The RCC promotes false info? Of course they do! There's that whole silly story about a virgin birth and a guy who could walk on water, heal the sick with a touch of his hand, feed a thousand people with a basket of fish and who rose up from the dead.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

(@ the rev.) Hey that gives me an idea. Bypass the RCC bullshit and freely pass out condoms in the Congo. Just tell them that it's to hold water....oh, and they have secondary uses also.
