"I don't need evidence for my faith"

"I don't need evidence for my faith"
Relative sent me this. Probably the dumbest line from a Christian I've heard in a while.

Ironically the ad is for a "proof of God" conference where "evidence" (of course bogus evidence) will be presented after all.

So wait, whats the point of going to the confrence? Hes basically just said what all of proof consists of. A very strong belief and nothing else.
Case closed.

This same guy would probably attack an atheist claiming that we all have faith.

To which I would reply, "Is my faith as much evidence as your faith?"

OF COURSE people don't need evidence to believe whatever they wish. They DO need evidence to get me to share those beliefs.

I have no problem with fuckwits going around saying stupid things in public; makes it so much easier to know who to avoid and who not to vote for. Cool Shades

This organization seems to feature a lot of people connected to Hovind's group which is connected to Kings James Only groups so odd readings probably abound.

I have no idea. But he probably would say that Adam and Eve are our great great great great.....great great great....great grandparents so in his crazy mind we're related.

I'm giggling at the idea of a less-than-odd reading of a biblical narrative. I apologize, carry on.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
